Update 1:

Sheryl limps from middle position, Jason completes in the small blind, and Cody checks his option in the big blind.

Flop 9s9d8h. All 3 players check.

Turn, now 9s9d8hTd. Jason leads for 11k, and Cody raises to 40k. Sheryl and Jason both fold, and Cody takes a nice pot.

Update 2:

Mark raises to 13k UTG +1. Jason and Cody call, and the blinds both fold.

Flop is 5s9s2s, and all 3 players check.

Turn makes 5s9s2s8h. Mark checks, and Jason bets 15k. Cody and Mark both fold letting Jason take down the pot.

Update 3:

Big stacks tango. Mark raises it to 13k on the button, and Jason completes from the BB. Both players check the flop with all spades, and on a turn bringing Ts4s2s6c, Mark bets 15k with position. It takes it down.

Update 4:

Sheryl adds to her stack to stay alive in back to back hands, and then doubles up. Hand 1 - Jason limps, Bucky completes from small blind, and Sheryl shoves 29k from big blind. Both players fold.

Hand 2 - Jason raises to 16k UTG +1, SH calls from small blind, BB folds. Sheryl shoves a flop of 9cAd2c, and Jason folds pocket 4’s. Sheryl shows a pair of Aces with the nut flush draw.

Hand 3 - Sheryl shoves all in for 81k from the button. Woody calls from the BB. Sheryl shows KK against Woody’s A8, and it holds on a JJTT6 board. Sheryl goes from 29k to over 160k in 3 hands!

Update 5:

Woody doubles up through Bucky. All in for 35k, and Bucky calls from the BB. Woody tables AsJh and Bucky has KsQh. Board runs out Ac2d4c2h5d, and Woody secures the double.

Apologies that I had to stop the updates - I needed to deal. Chuck was crippled after his AT lost to Sheryl’s KQ, getting knocked out 2 hands later with less than a BB behind. Down to 7 players.

Update 5:50PM: Jason’s AA just beat the AJ of Carolyn and QJ of Bucky, with Jason and Bucky all in pre flop. The AA holds, Bucky is knocked out, and Carolyn is left with about 20k behind.

Down to 5 players.

Update 6PM:

Carolyn pushes her remaining 15k and is called by all 4 remaining players. Her K3 can’t catch the pair of Jason, and she is eliminated in 5th place.

We are on the money bubble.

Update 6:05PM: Cody got his remaining chips with A8 of clubs against Mark’s AQ of diamonds. Mark’s AQ holds and the money bubble bursts. Congratulations to Mark Tucker, Jason Jones, and Norman ‘Woody’ Woods for making the money. The three are on a short break and will return to battle for the title.

Update 6:15PM:

Woody gets his remaining chips in with AJ with the J of clubs against Jason’s 56 of clubs on an all club flop. The flush holds, and Woody is eliminated in 3rd place. Jason and Mark are heads up and are essentially even in chips.
