Update from WSOP: Yvette on 🔥🔥

Affectionally known as “mama” or “the boss”, Yvette continues to crush souls at the felt. Mario and Yvette flew into Vegas on Friday and they have been hard at work. After a brief stop to encourage Mark and Jared (see picture), Yvette decided to jump in the nightly at Planet Hollywood. It should shock absolutely no one that she demolished the field. At one point 5 handed, she had a third of the chips in play. Those structures don’t offer a lot of playability at the end, but she ended her night in 3rd place with a nice start to the trip.

On Saturday, the Barreracudas both jumped in the $200 $250k guarantee at the Golden Nugget. Unfortunately, super Mario didn’t ever catch the fire he needed to get in the bag, but yet again, the boss came through on just one bullet, bagging just enough to give her a chance into Day 2.

She grinded her stack into the money and was finally taken down in 135th out of 2,000 runners. A helluva run.

#teamfade has been making waves all summer, and the poker super duo from South Texas are off to a nice start. Cheers for the good guys!
