Meet the Team
Colton Thomas
Founder of Fade The Spades. Just your typical cube dweller, trapped in an endless cycle between poker dream chasing and bill paying responsibilities. Definitely a swing-for-the-fences type of player with some highs and lows. Affectionately known on the team as the Satellite King.
James Vaughn
Founder of Fade The Spades. Played poker professionally for over seven years before retiring to the greener pastures of domesticity. He’s been banned from several local games around town, and he wears that as a badge of honor. Calculated and fearless, he’s never afraid to make the big re-raise or the big fold.
Mario Barrera
Team Member of Fade The Spades since 2014. The ultimate grinder, he is an expert at waiting until just the right moment to pounce. He can never be counted out, and he’s got the deep runs to show for it around the Oklahoma poker circuit. If he raises you, you better be sure you have the goods.
Yvette Barrera
Team Member of Fade The Spades since 2014. An absolute terror in ladies events, but don’t let her bright red lipstick fool you. She’s the ultimate wolf in sheep’s clothing, and if she’s staring you down, it’s likely she knows exactly what you are holding. She likes to be social at the table and stack a lot of chips.
Ricky Prince
Team Member of Fade The Spades since 2014. Often seen with his signature toothpick dangling from his lip, his aggressive style will always keep you wondering. He might look intimidating, but he’s always good to lighten the mood at the tables as he shows you his bluff with 2-4 off suit.
Mark Tucker
Team Member of Fade The Spades since 2017. He’s grinded local games around DFW for years and is well versed in all poker variants - wild cards included. His casino chops aren’t bad either though - cashing in WSOP events and circuit events alike. He is quiet, reserved, polite, but behind that sweet demeanor lies a numbers-crunching killer instinct.
Grecia “Buddy” Garza
Team Fade is expanding! Grec, affectionately known as “Buddy”, frequents the local poker scene and Oklahoma circuit with a lot of recent success. Coming from the growing south Texas contingent, she is making noise in ladies’ ring events and taking down large field tournaments as well. Look out - up and comer on the rise!
