Welcome / FTS NL Hold'em Satellite

Hey! We have a website! It’s hard to say exactly what form this site will take over the coming years, but I hope you’ll join us for the ride. I want to explore quite a few things within the poker community, but for now, I just want to express gratitude for all of our friends and family that have supported our team. The friendships and experiences we’ve had as individuals and as a team over the last five years have been unforgettable, and I hope the next chapter of #teamfade is just as exciting as the first.

We recently held a $50 satellite into our first annual Fade The Spades NL Hold’Em Championship, and, while a bit chaotic at times, it was a success. A good time was had by all, and we awarded two seats to our championship tournament. Congratulations to Sheryl and David on besting our field and winning their entry into this weekends’ festivities.

Yours truly went out with a whimper when my loving wife called my AQ of hearts preflop with KT off suit. The great Norman Chad always bemoans AQ, and I can see why. She ran out the straight on the river much to the delight of everyone but me. David, meanwhile, road an incredible heater throughout the tournament, and once he accumulated a chip lead, he used it wisely. Sheryl waited in the wings for the right spots, and the two left $500 richer for it.

Our focus will be primarily on what it’s like in our local poker community, why this community is so important, and how you can join us.
